Brenda Shelnut – Front Office Coordinator
Brenda is the welcoming smile and cheerful voice that greets you first at Foothills Family Dental. A valued member of our team since 2004, she plays a key role in making every patient feel at home from the moment they walk through the door.
A proud native of White County, Brenda is deeply rooted in the community. She is happily married, and her greatest joy is spending time with her three adult children and 4 wonderful grandchildren.
Sydney Arnold – Front office Coordinator
Although fairly new to the dental field, you wouldn’t know it when you meet Sydney. As one of our front office professionals, she brings valuable knowledge about dental insurance and procedures. She welcomes every patient with a warm smile and friendly voice, helping them feel at ease from the moment they walk in.
Sydney lives in Habersham with her husband and three children. Together they enjoy spending time outdoors and at the ball field.
Briana Barrett – RDH
Briana has been working in the dental field since 2006 and brings a genuine passion for patient care and education. She is dedicated to helping each patient achieve a healthy lifestyle through personalized support and guidance.
Briana lives in Cleveland with her husband and their three boys. When they’re not at work or school, you will find them on a racetrack or the ballfield, enjoying time together as a family.
Helen Hutcheson – Insurance Coordinator
Helen joined our team in 2016 as our insurance coordinator, bringing over 15 years of experience in the dental field. Although she was born in Florida, Helen has proudly called Georgia home since 1982.
She lives in Clarkesville with her husband, and they enjoy spending their free time with family, friends and their beloved fur baby, Annie.
Sara Adams – RDH
Sara has worked in the dental field since 2013, beginning her career as a dental assistant and later advancing to become a registered dental hygienist. Her experience and dedication reflect her commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and promoting long-term oral health. She takes great pride in her role as a dental healthcare professional and is dedicated to educating and motivating patients to improve and maintain their oral and overall health.
Sara and her husband reside in Cleveland with their two children. Outside of work, she enjoys spending her free time with family.
Daphne
Daphne joined our practice (again) in 2021! She actually worked with Dr. Wall when she first started her dental career in 1999. She took some time off to be with her family and worked at a few other dental offices since then, and we are so happy to have her back! Daphne is our practice assistant and works in all areas of the practice. She is also our whitening professional! Originally from Cleveland, Daphne resides in Clermont with her husband Randy and son Grady. She has a true passion for helping and serving others.
Shelly Sowell – RDH
Shelly has been working in the dental field since 1995 and brings decades of experience and compassion to her role. She has a passion for providing gentle, thorough patient care- with a smile. Shelly enjoys building lasting relationships with her patients and takes pride in educating them on preventative care and how to maintain optimal dental health.
Shelly and her husband are proud parents of four grown sons and grandparents to two wonderful grandchildren. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling and spending quality time with family and friends. She also owns and operates a successful charcuterie business, Board and Brie, combining her passion for food and creativity.
Amy Bookmiller – Dental Assistant
Amy has nearly 30 years of experience in the dental field, with a background in both general dentistry and the specialty of Endodontics. She enjoys getting to know her patients and helping them feel at home. Amy greets every patient with a warm smile and a friendly hello, creating a welcoming atmosphere from the moment they walk in.
Originally from White County, Amy now resides in Murrayville with her husband. Together, they have four children and six grandchildren.
Hannah Eaton – Dental Assistant
Hannah has over 10 years of experience in the dental field, working in both clerical and clinical roles. As an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant, she is highly skilled and dedicated to providing quality care. Hannah enjoys connecting with patients and helping to make their visits as smooth and comfortable as possible.
Outside the office, Hannah loves spending time with her husband and two girls. As a family, they love outdoor activities.
Brook Patton – Dental Assistant
Brook joined our practice in 2025 as a dental assistant. She is knowledgeable in several areas of specialty dentistry and brings enthusiasm and care to every patient interaction. Brook enjoys getting to know our patients and helping them feel comfortable and supported.
In her free time, she loves traveling and spending time with her family and friends.
Farrah – Registered Dental Hygienist
Farrah has worked in the dental field since 1999, beginning her career as a dental assistant and later advancing to become a Registered Dental Hygienist. Originally from Ohio and West Virginia, Farrah brings a wide range of experience gained from working with diverse doctors and patient populations. This background is reflected in her commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
She takes great pride in her role as an oral healthcare professional and is passionate about educating and motivating patients to achieve their best overall health.
Farrah and her husband reside in North Hall and are the proud parents of two sons.
